“ We appreciate server Dung's excellent service, which made our dinner entertaining and delightful. We will definitely return, not only for the food but also for you! ”
“ 3.5 stars A no frills budget friendly kinda AYCE spot that serves Vietnamese inspired marinated meats. We came during a weekday and Saturday lunch and both times we were the only patrons. I enjoyed this spot more for their hot pot. They only offer half pho broth and Tom yum broth and both were very tasty. Come on the weekend for more hot food items. If you're expecting a typical Korean BBQ kind of experience, this spot probably isn't for you. Their grills are covered in foil and they give you oil or butter? to squirt on it when grilling. The dipping sauce station has a lot of Vietnamese sauces. ”
“ Super good. Sunday 11am had snow crab legs. Very nice hosts, refils came frequently. Wide variety of sauces and seafood and meat for hotpot. ”
“ Coming back almost two years later, 98 Shabu+Grill continues to be a really good AYCE shabu-shabu restaurant with a self-serve Korean barbeque. We came on a Thursday late morning for their weekday lunch which is now $21.99 (M-F 11-3pm). The table has 4 places for individual hot pot (induction heaters)...two of them at our table didn't work well. You grab all your meats, vegetables, and sauces from the a self-serve buffet. Even though it was lunch, they still had a lot of seafood options. They even had hot food options available, like salt/pepper blue crab. They also did a nice job of keeping our water glasses full and clearing our dirty dishes. We had a good time. ”
“ If you're looking for vietnamese based flavor palettes for shabu and grilled meats then THIS is the perfect place. The grilled meat variety is huge and while the flavors lean towards more south east asian flavors (lemongrass or simple marinades) there are definitely other meats and seafood that also fit other type of flavors as well. I personally shabu even though the only broths you get are tom-yum and what I believe to be beef (it was very close to pho broth). Their cold bar and dessert selection is also full of familiar vietnamese desserts as well so it'd be a very familiar experience for those looking for a Vietnamese experience :) ”
